To help directors of Florida condominium boards of administration discharge their fiduciary duties to their association and its members pursuant to Florida’s Condominium Act and other applicable laws, rules and regulations, and to satisfy Florida’s mandatory 4-hour board member education requirement.

After completing this course, the learner will be able to:
- explain the basic elements of the condominium arrangement as outlined by Florida law;
- satisfy the fiduciary duties and obligations of condominium association board members in a manner consistent with Florida’s Condominium Act and the association’s governing documents;
- conduct elections to the board in a manner consistent with Florida’s Condominium Act and the association’s governing documents;
- assist in the undertaking of milestone inspections and structural integrity reserve studies;
- conduct board, unit owner, committee, and budget meetings in a manner consistent with Florida’s Condominium Act and the association’s governing documents, including notice and meeting requirements;
- maintain condominium association records and provide unit owners access to those records in a manner consistent with Florida’s Condominium Act and the association’s governing documents; and
- execute duties relating to bidding and contracting on behalf of the condominium association in a manner consistent with Florida’s Condominium Act and the association’s governing documents.
